A group of two couples, Gretchen and John, and Lynn and Jay enjoyed Córdoba during the month of May. They stayed at La Loma lodge.

This lodge is one of our most requested hunting destinations, given that it is located between the two of the most prized dove roosts in Córdoba. La Loma is a beautiful traditional Estancia built in 1908 by one of the wealthiest families in Argentina. 

They arrived in the afternoon of May 14th, so the hunting began the following morning. They were still a bit tired from the long flight, so we decided to take them to General Paz because doves there tend to flight a little bit later than in other fields..

They were lucky to go to different fields during their stay here. The group especially loved hunting in Piquillín, which is in the southeast of the province. There, doves established their roost and have food and water. For this reason, there’s a great volume of doves in the area!

Regarding the weather, they were lucky to have sunny days. May is known here for its gusts of wind, but either way they were magnificent hunters and shot an incredible amount of doves! 

The group enjoyed our traditional asado for lunch every day at the field.
