April was coming to an end when we welcomed 2 amazing couples in La Loma Lodge. William and Melanie, and Shawn and Lisa arrived on April 26th in Cordoba. As they landed around midday, we took them straight away to the field. They could enjoy a first half day of hunting. It was a good start! We went to La Puerta, a field near the town Colonia Tirolesa. The weather conditions were not the best we could ask for. Even so, we had a great day! It was a bit rainy but our guests could hunt lots of pigeons anyway! 

The following day we went near Rio Seco, a Northern location in Cordoba province. That morning was cloudy and rainy during some time but it didn’t stop us from hunting. After an awesome lunch at the field - we enjoyed a great asado!- we moved to another field. Once there, the weather conditions improved a lot. It was sunny, tough a bit windy. Wind sometimes complicates the hunting since it changes the course of the doves. Yet, it makes the hunting more challenging! 

That day was William’s birthday. We brought an amazing cake to the field. He was so surprised! He really enjoyed and appreciate our present. I also gave a him my pashmina. He loved it! He told me he would wear it whenever he goes hunting from now on.

Everybody in the group congratulated on our field team!  William worked with Hector as bird boy, Shawn with Sapo, while Lisa worked with Tata. Tata was an excellent coach! Even though Lisa is a great hunter, it was her first time hunting doves, so she needed some teaching. By the end of the second day, she was already an expert! 

The following day we went to a field called Tinoco, to the East of Colonia Tirolesa. We shot like never before! So many doves, it was amazing! We really enjoyed the whole day.

During the next and last morning in our country, Lisa and Shawn enjoyed a great massage so that they can have an easy flight. 

We really enjoyed their visit in Cordoba and we hope to see them back soon!
