On March 12th, Rod and James arrived in Córdoba. They enjoyed the city for two days until their friends, Guy and Rohn arrived on the 14th. We picked all of the up at their hotels ready to get the adventure started!

We took them straight to the field in the lowlands of Jesús María. It was a beautiful sunny day with a good amount of doves. There was a sudden change of weather, and that same night it started to rain. The following day, as it was quite rainy, we changed our plans and decided to go a different field, this time a new one located in the sierras. 

The group hunted the entire day! It was a calm day with no many birds, but the group had an excellent time with each other and their field assistants. All of them, except for James, were experienced hunters and so this trip they were taking it easy and just enjoying themselves. It was the first time in our country for Guy, James and Rod. It was the 5th time for Rohn in our country! He really loves coming here.

On their third day, we agreed on going to La Para to resume the hunting. It wasn’t raining anymore, so we had a fantastic day and they shot a lot of birds!

By lunchtime it started to rain again, so we had our traditional asado in a local restaurant in La Para. La Para is a small town located in the north of our province. After a delicious lunch, we did a bit of sobremesa which is the time spent after a meal, hanging out with friends or family, chatting and enjoying each other’s company. 

After sobremesa, we went back to the field, the weather cleared up and so the group could enjoy an afternoon of great hunting.

On their last day, the group asked if it was possible to go back to the first field they hunted, and so we did. It was great they decided to go back to this particular field because we ended up having a wonderful day!
