American Hunters Experience Unforgettable Dove Hunting in Cordoba

Inmerse in the following story of a group of young friends experiencing an unforgettable dove hunting trip in Argentina, with plenty of birds and delicious food

Day 1 - This group arrived at 12:10 noon and were picked up by Federico Silva and Francisco Visintini. They were then taken directly to Tello's field, in the lower area of Jesús María. This is a young group of friends, ranging in age from 29 to 31 years old, formed by Matthew, Madison, Andrew, Cameron, Travis and Lucas.

They arrived at the camp around 1:20 p.m. where Guillermo Rodriguez (Chef of the camp) was waiting for them with the best Argentine asado ready so they could have a quick lunch and not delay them so they could hunt as soon as possible. They did not want dessert, so at 2 p.m. the hunt began and ended at 5 p.m. approximately.

The field had a good ammount of birds, and they were very happy because it was their first time because they saw a lot of dove. They shot an average of 10 to 11 boxes per hunter and once they finished hunting and arrived at the San Huberto lodge, Florencia and Elías were waiting for them with some arugula and prosciutto bruschettas, wet towels and cold beers.

Day 2 - This group decided to start earlier than usual, so by 7 a.m. they were on their way to a camp located near Cruz del Eje. The area is called El Tropiezo, which is about 130 km from Totoral, and it was a 1.5 hour drive from the lodge to the camp. They arrived at the camp around 8:30 a.m. where the guides were already waiting for them to start hunting.

This area is very arid and there is a lot of penca, so they decided to set up next to a waterhole. In the morning there were many doves and they hunted a lot, which made them very happy. At 11:30 a.m. the Chef, Guido Rodriguez, was waiting for them with lunch, preparing pigeon brochettes, red bell pepper, onion and bacon, marinated with chimichurri as a starter. He also made grilled vegetables and finally chorizo, loin, chicken and pork ribs, topping off the lunch with a homemade flan for dessert. After lunch, Matt and Lucas rested in the hammocks while the rest of the group hung out for about 45 minutes to start hunting again.

At 1:30 p.m. they resumed hunting and it was a little quieter than in the morning, until 4:45 p.m. when they returned to the lodge, arriving at approximately 6:15 p.m. They were greeted by Florencia and Elias with mini pigeon burgers and drinks of vodka with orange juice and grenadine.
