Chronicles of a fantastic trip

If you are interested in how Pointer hunting trips are, keep reading! The following report is about the Stewart's and Anthony's adventure in Cordoba, Argentina.

On the first day they arrived but did not want to eat so they went directly to the lodge and ate there before going hunting at Martial, a feedlot near Villa Gutierrez. The hunting was very good and the place was very nice. Even though it is small, it is fine for a group of 4-5 people. The clients liked it very much and were delighted.

On the second day of the Stewart group's trip, the clients went hunting at the Ciprian field, which is near the river in the Jesus Maria lowlands. The morning was spectacular and they hunted a lot. The hunters’ wives wanted to have lunch at the field with them, so Maxi Arrieta picked them up so they could do it without any problems. In the afternoon, they continued hunting very well. A couple of hours into the hunting, they got very tired, so they cut it short and decided to return to the lodge.

On the third day of the trip, another group joined this group, which was the John Anthony group. Both groups went hunting to the Jesus Maria lowlands to a very nice field, but the only problem was the strong south wind that did not stop. The north wind makes the dove fly lower so that hunting is easier, but this was not the case. The weather was very cold and there was also a lot of dust in the air that made it impossible to see even a meter away.

This group also wanted to go directly to the lodge and hunt in the afternoon, so the wishes of the clients were fulfilled. In the afternoon, the clients were very happy despite the weather, as the hunting was very good and all the doves were flying low over the field where our guests were located.

On the fourth day, they went hunting at the Blangino field, located in the Jesus Maria lowlands. That day, the couples of the hunters had a horseback ride but still wanted to have lunch with the hunters at the field, so Maximiliano Arrieta picked them up after the horseback excursion. Even though there was a strong south wind again, there were a large number of doves and it was a great hunt.
