A Lot of Doves for a Lot of Hunters

On August 16th we welcomed a big group of 10 hunters! They were ready to start enjoying this hunting paradise.

We went to the airport to welcomed William, John, Garrett, Michael, William, Brock, Christopher, Wilson, John and Joe. They flight arrived just on time, and we were there waiting for them anxiously.  We went to have breakfast to a gas station so that it would be a quick stop. After that, we began our trip to the field. Once there they got comfortable clothes and began the hunting. It was almost midday, so they shot for 2 hours and decided to have lunch in the field. If this it is your first time in Argentina, and you have heard about our famous asados, I can guarantee this the most desired moment since your arrival. We ate an amazing asado! Our master chef was waiting for us with the famous Argentinian asado (BBQ) ready. Cooked in the field, different meat cuts like ribs, flank and steak are grilled to the heat of firewood burning. This is also enjoyed with Malbec wine.

Our lunches at the field are next level. After the first day, all of our guests are anxiously waiting for the next lunch. The last part of lunch is desert and in Argentina and after that… time for siesta! Each of our guests has a comfortable hammock hanging under the shade of the trees. 30 minutes of relaxation, cool breeze, and the smell of nature, essential to gather energy and continue the hunting. The afternoon session was just awesome. We were in the flats of Jesús María, in Northern Córdoba.

After an amazing day, and an excellent beginning, we took them to the lodge. It was time to have a bath, relax in the fire pit with a cool drink and enjoy the typical Argentinian estancia La Loma

The second day we picked the group up at the lodge at 8 am. It was such a good day! We chose and place the hunting spots based on the possibility of shooting from different angles. These places are also comfortable enough to spend a nice day outdoors. We can have one shooter or two at each spot, according to your preference. This time, for example, our guests wanted to shoot in pairs, father and son or with friends. And that was what we did!

At 12 pm the asado was ready, waiting for us. Once more, it was delicious! The lunch was over and our guests decided to try a typical Argentinian game inherited by the first immigrants to our country: bochas. A game can be conducted between two players, or two teams of two, three, or four. A match is started by a randomly chosen side being given the opportunity to throw a smaller ball, the jack. From that moment on, you need to throw your bocce the closest you can to the jack. It was a funny day!

The following day started at 8 am too. We placed the hunting spots in a corn field. There were thousands of doves! As the previous days, our guests couldn’t believe the amount of doves. And I know, it is difficult to imagine, that is why you need to see yourself!

That was the last day of their stay with us. They were so happy to have enjoyed such a great hunting in Argentina.

YOU SHOULD BE THE NEXT ONE!
