Wonderful Trip With Pointer

This amazing couples group arrived on June 12th around noon. Let me introduce them to you. They are Cheryl, James, Cassie, and Layne.

We drove straight to the lodge upon arrival, since Casey - James' daughter - is pregnant, so she wanted to change and relax for a bit.

At our top-notch lodge Agua Las Piedras, they had a great lunch and we were off to the field so they can have a taste of what was coming for the next following days with us. We hunted all 4 days around the Jesus Maria area, at about a 45 minute drive from the lodge, because doves were mainly feeding in that area during those days.

On the next day, we started pretty early! Up at 8 am and went straight to the field to get the party going! We had a great hunt during the morning, and though they weren’t big hunters, they had a blast. Our field staff made sure they did!

Then around noon, we had our most typical meal: Traditional Argentine BBQ “Asado”. Everyone loved it! Once you’ve tried our Asado, there’s no turning back. After lunch, we hang some hammocks and they enjoyed a quick siesta to get ready for what we had in store for the afternoon hunt: more doves they’ve ever seen!

On their third day with us, the ladies preferred to relax and stay at the lodge. But there was no way they miss the big lunch at the field, so we picked them up around noon to drive them to the field where James and Layne were hunting. After that, they wanted to do some shopping, so we show them around Jesus Maria town where they purchased some typical leather goods.

On their last day, we wanted for them to have a nice memory of their trip, so we gifted them Pointer shell pouches and they’ve used them all day long during their last hunt!

We had an amazing time with Cheryl, James, Cassie and Layne and can’t wait to meet them again!
