Two Groups Killing It

Greetings from the land where doves are countless! Last June, we had the pleasure to meet two amazing groups. Lets see how they did in Argentina. Check out the pictures and the videos.

A Father-Son Trip

Michael and Josh Perez made their first trip to Argentina to hunt with Pointer Outfitters in June, 2018. They were ready to take a break from work and responsibilities and coming to Argentina together to spend some quality time sounded just perfect.

They were experienced wing shooters, having travelled all over Texas and once to South America, looking for new adventures but always together. Argentina was a different animal for them. The volume of birds surrounding Totoral City were unlike anything they had ever seen.

Michael enjoyed the scene as much as he enjoyed the hunting. The thousands of birds that flew in the air that afternoon gave John the opportunity to practice shooting with his left hand. Between shoots, and occasionally during the hunting, the guys enjoyed the cool Argentina winter air. They had a great time with their field assistants, who were there to help them with their guns and shells.

Our friends loved more than anything the food that came along with their visit to Argentina. Josh raved about the meals that the staff at La Loma Lodge prepared each night, while Michael filled his plate with our delicious asado (BBQ) in the field every single day. Amazing food in such places is an awesome surprise and our guests really loved every second of their meals.

We loved hosting Michael and Josh as much as they enjoyed their hunting experience. We look forward to having them back with us in the near future. Their joy and sense of humor int he field were infectious and their company was heartwarming. They left but promised to come back visit us soon. We shared great memories that will last forever.

Excitement for the Whole Family!

Gary Siller was seeking for an experience that fit for his entire family. He found the right adventure right in Argentina. Gary and his sons, Chance and Alex, together with his friend Sandy enjoyed the first few days in the country in Buenos Aires before coming to Cordoba, where they would stay for four days. This group from Houston was welcomed by all the staff and enjoyed every single minute of their stay here with us.

Gary and Chance were skilled at shooting. They had had a hunting experience in Texas, but that cannot be compared to how they killed it in Argentina.

The dove seemed to be flying specially in the direction to the Siller crew. Both Chance and Gary enjoyed shooting and they reached the 1000 doves two afternoons in a row!!!

Alex and Sandy took their time to relax in La Loma Lodge. They were delighted with a wide selection of Malbec wine from Mendoza.

The whole group agreed that their experience in the field and in the lodge was second to none. Hope to see you guys around again soon!

What are you waiting for?

You should be the next one!
