Golden Escapade to the North of Cordoba

What could go wrong when you have good weather, a large group of fun people and a great volume of doves?

Early in the morning of a sunny and cold day in August, we welcomed Bryan and Janet, Richmond and Gwendolyn, Michael and Alice, and Cary and Wanda Sue. All were happy to have arrived, but the gentlemen were impatient and wanted to begin hunting, so we took them straight to the field. The ladies decided to go get some rest at the Jesús María Deluxe Resort, where they stayed during their visit.

If was a good morning hunt for them! There was a great amount of doves!

At lunch time, they were joined with a group of 9 hunters: Jeff, Daniel, Kevin, Marc, Tim, Charles, William, Aaron and Stan, and a group of 3 hunters: Lewis, Scott and Kristin, all of whom arrived at noon in Córdoba.

After a great lunch and everyone getting to know each other a little bit, the afternoon hunt began. We were close to the roost and with tailwind, doves were flying low, so the hunt was fantastic! So much so, that Scott and Kristin shot 1000 doves each!

Everyone got along really well, so it was a good first day with all of them!

On their second, we took them to a different field. Because Scott and Kristin joined the 1000 Doves Club the day before, the rest of the hunters were really excited and motivated to hunt and to shoot that amount of birds in a day. By the end of the morning, 7 of them had shot 1000 birds! It was incredible and, as their guide, quite satisfactory to witness!

All of them were happy, but hungry so we headed back to the camp to have lunch. The cook was waiting for them with some entradas before our traditional asado: some plates of picada, cold cuts of deli meats and cheese, and some peppers filled with eggs.

While they were enjoying the food, they were discussing they wanted to do a tournament, so they got together with their field assistants and organized one for the afternoon hunt.

Needless to say the afternoon was so much fun! Great hunting and dancing included!

On their last day, we went back to one the fields where they hunted before and there were thousands of doves! But this time they decided to relax and enjoy their last day hunting here.

It was a fantastic four-day hunt stay for all of them! It was great having three groups of great, fun and caring people together!

And you… would you like to be the next one?
