Time to Enjoy

What a busy month August is! We are happy to meet new hunters almost every day and to enjoy the anecdotes and fun moments we spend with each of them. James, Kent and William arrived on the 18th of August. We went straight to the field and after a delicious lunch we started the hunt.

James had a special charm and kept encouraging his friends to shoot and have fun! Their only concern was to enjoy themselves. They were not extremely passionate about hunting, but that can change. Argentina turns every hunter into a passionate hunter after seeing the amoun of birds. And this is what happened to this group. As soon as the saw the volume of birds, they wanted to start the hunt immediately. When the sun started to set, they decided to leave the guns aside and grab some beers instead. Time to relax!

For the second day, we had planned to start early to give our guests the chance to experience an amazing hunt but we found our hunters couldn’t leave their beds! So we let them relax for a while and then went to the field. Kent preferred to relax at the hammocks while his friends hunted. After an hour or so, they went to look for him. They wanted to be shooting together from the same spot.

That night, our guests wanted to walk around the small downtown of the village where La Loma Lodge is located and maybe have a drink or two in a bar. So after they had a massage session in the lodge, off they went. The next morning was tiring! After so little sleep, our hunters were tired but they still enjoyed the hunt and had fun.

They had a plan for the afternoon: the person who shot the least birds had to pay for the drinks that night!

For the last day of hunt, they had another goal: to shoot together, the thousand birds each of them couldn’t get on their own the previous days!

At lunch time they wanted to have pictures taken with the chef and the delicious barbeque being made. They also wanted to know the chimichurri recipe! Chimichurri is a very typical sauce we use here to season meat and Kent, James, William wanted to make back at home to share with their friends.

The afternoon hunt started very intensely and the guys were completely focused and determined to achieve the one thousand birds….until…..James started playing around and making the field assistants and friends laugh! After an hour they decided to wrap the hunt and sit back and drink some beers.

We said goodbye to this group and they went to Cordoba city to enjoy a visit around the city.

You should be the next one!
