Great Food Great Shooting and Great Memories

A perfect hunting trip you will remember forever

Derek Shepherd's group, formed by Derek, Michael and Colin, arrived at Cordoba at 3 p.m. and headed to San Huberto lodge, the place where they were staying during their stay in Argentina.

The next day, they all went hunting, leaving for the Ciprian field (located in lower Jesús María area) at 7:50 a.m. Their hunting guide was Federico Silva, who has long accompanied them on their hunting trips with Pointer Outfitters through the years. There was a strong north wind but the hunters shot anyway because they like to hunt high flying doves, although the shot was complex because the doves were coming fast.

Around 11:30 a.m. they went to lunch, where their Chef Facundo Astrada cooked them a typical Argentinean asado. The clients sat down for a while and at 1:30 p.m. they resumed hunting until 3:15 p.m. because Colin needed to return to the lodge.

They returned to San Huberto lodge at approximately 4:30 p.m., and the group was greeted by Paula (Chef) and Alexis (waiter) with wet towels, drinks and appetizers. Once at the lodge, they decided to take a bath and lie down for a while to rest and recharge their batteries for dinner.
