Good Times Hunting with Friends

One month into fall makes the month of April into one of the best times to come hunting with us while enjoying the company of some friends.

Paul, Jim, Chris, Daryl, Cory, Michael, Randy and Scott arrived around noon on a Monday in April. They were 8 friends and colleagues who were great people and fun to be around with.

Scott, an old friend of us, invited us to go hunt to his ranch exotic animals he has from South Africa. He invited us to go in November, so we’re currently in touch with him and hopefully we would be able to make it.

It was Scott’s third time in our country and his second with us, and he left even more pleased that the last time. This time, he brought his friends with him.

The group hunted in corn fields and in the lowlands and, overall, the hunting was good. Amazed by the amount of doves, Paul was the only one to shoot 1000 doves, while the others decided to take it easy.

They all hunted for 3 full days. Half the party had to leave a day earlier, and the other half decided to do a city tour in Córdoba city. We have plenty of Non-Hunting activities if you want to relax for a day, tour the city, get to know our beautiful countryside, you name it! Our Travel and Leisure department will find great activities that suit your group!

First, we wanted them to enjoy the best parrillada in Córdoba, so we took them to have lunch at Parrilla El Fogón de los Arrieros. It is the most important high-end parrilla in the city of Córdoba and since it started, 40 years ago, it is characterized by the taste of its embers and its juicy rump steak, costeleta, pork, beef rib, flank steak, offal and its unmistakable cabrito accompanied by grilled veggies. Peppers, onions, zucchini and eggplants are the most common vegetables that are grilled with a bit of olive oils and salt.

After a great lunch, we went to Buen Pastor, which is a cultural and recreational center located in Nueva Córdoba neighbourhood. Across the street, there is The Sacred Heart Church of the Capuchin Fathers, which is a beautiful church of Gothic architecture. We also took them to visit the Manzana Jesuítica (Jesuit Block), which is a Jesuit settlement build by missionaries considered a World Heritage Site since 2000. We also visited the Cathedral of Córdoba, which is the oldest church in service in Argentina. They did some shopping at a local saddler and leather goods shop and we had some pizzas at IT! Italy.

And you… Would you like to be the next one?
